Ley is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with specialties in behavioral gerontology and the behavioral presentations of medical issues in people with ID/RD. He works closely with organizations such as the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices and received the 2024 American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry “Excellence in IDD Journalism Award” for contributions to HELEN: The Journal of Human Exceptionality. Ley is the Founder/CEO of Crescent Behavioral Health Services based in Columbia, SC.
